[Ardour-Users] Does Ardour support MPE ?

It's all in the subject line. Does Ardour support MPE ?

No.

Caveat: MPE is just normal MIDI, with different semantics. If you record
incoming MIDI from a device that is "MPE enabled", Ardour will record it,
and you can edit it, and play it back.

But that's not what people mean when they say "support MPE". The semantics
are a set of individual parameters associated with each note, which means
that the entire GUI presentation of the data needs to be done completely
differently.
