Hi
I wondered if there could be a way to set the default action when a region is
copied (Linked; Unlinked)?
Some people prefer copies to be looped but others don't. I've added the shortcut
Ctrl+U to the 'Unlink from other copies' MiDi option as I almost always want to
change something in the copy... this works great, but it would be nice to be
able to skip that step!

Hi Cameron,

Yes, there is: it's set per-session, under "Session | Properties | Misc
| MIDI Options | MIDI region copies are independent". Click "Use these
settings as defaults" if you want it always set when you create a new
session.

It's configurable per-session rather than for the application, so you will
find it in Session > Properties > Misc .. [ MIDI ] MIDI Region copies are
independent
